Dampier heads to locker room with broken finger

It was clear right away that Erick Dampier suffered a broken finger when he was called for a foul with 2:52 left in the game.

Casey Smith, the athletic trainer, yelled it out right away.

Not sure which finger it is. But that's one thing the Mavericks don't need -- an injury to one of their centers.

Looks like Brendan Haywood is going to get a lot more action than he expected in his early days with the Mavericks.
