Texas continues to lead the nation in exporting for the ninth year in a row, according to the U.S. Department of Commerce.Texas’ exports in 2010 totaled more than $206 billion, up 26.7 percent from $162 billion in 2009, and outperformed overall U.S. exports, which grew by 20.9 percent last year.By far the top recipient of Texas’ export goods was Mexico with $72.3 billion.
