Mark Cuban asked that question to the Twitter masses in the wee hours of this morning.
The answer, unless New Orleans wins the next two games, is one. Either 29-year-old Steve Blake or 24-year-old Aaron Brooks will advance to the second round, but neither of those guys merits mention in conversations about the league's elite point guards.
This comes across as a clever hint from Cuban that the Jason Kidd trade was indeed a wise move. After all, 26-year-old Devin Harris didn't make the playoffs. And Kidd deserves credit for turning the Mavs into a smart, mentally tough team.
MFFLs can and will debate Kidd vs. Harris for years. However, there's no question that twentysomething point guards Chris Paul, Deron Williams and Tony Parker are a cut above Kidd at this point of their careers, even though the old guy is the only one who will see the second round this season.
Speaking of old point guards, Kidd's matchup with 32-year-old Chauncey Billups ought to be a classic duel between two of the savviest, toughest, most clutch leaders of the last decade.
